My post today is personal and about my own school. My Mom and I have just finished two days of presenting the CG Kidz message with the almost 800 kids there in about 10 different sessions! It was long, I’m tired but I am really inspired. Here’s why. When we talked to the principal this year about doing a club – we didnt really know what would happen. My Mom helps out and leads the club on Wednesdays and we’ve had 15 or so GREAT kids that come and they have really changed the way they look at things. In just 9 weeks, they have started a recycle program for paper, organized for everyone to recycle Capri Suns, and we’ve planned a REALLY BIG Earth Day Celebration and now – we have even started a community wide CG Kidz eco-club because so many kids wanted to do more.
The really cool thing is this – when they announced last week for anyone interested in the next Green Club to come up and register, they ended up turning away over 200 kids. WOW WOW WOW! We really have made a difference in making kids AWARE. Isn’t that what it’s all about? Thank you to all of the teachers and especially Ms. Weir and everyone in the library who helped us the last few days. Earth Day – here we come!

hi you went to my school and you and your mom talked to my class.actully you go to my school cmsn you were there today and you are on team 5-2 i am on 5-1 so i see you at lunch sometimes but i am already helping my community by going around my nieghbor and picking up my trash in the yard.by.
